I used 60 grains hodgon's triple 7 3f granulation( I don't want to hear it about not using real BP).54 wool wad over powder 80 grains of shot(#6) and a wad over shot At 20 yards the pattern had 30 average hits into what I consider the kill zone.Weighs just over 8lbs, so it's quite handy for a double barrel gun. Barrel swivel detents are nice and solid. Seems in decent shape overall. You get about 25% more shots from a pound of pyrodex then a pound of black.
